Old insulation removal and replacement

We remove old insulation and blow in new insulation. Our home insulation services address energy efficiency and cleaner air circulation. We offer a $100 reward for referring a friend who needs a new installation.

Attic and wall insulation

We install insulation in attics and walls, so our replacement work can cover both locations in your home.

Testing after insulation installation

After the insulation project, we complete a blower door test and obtain an energy reading to check for air leaks.

How blower door testing works

Our blower door test measures air infiltration. A fan fits into a doorway, while pressure and airflow instruments measure differences between the inside and outside of your home.

Sealing identified air leaks

We also provide air leak sealing. During blower door testing, we check interior spaces for air entering or escaping and seal identified leaks. We return after testing to repair or fill gaps.

Preparing your home for testing

Plan for a walk-through with our technician and point out drafty rooms or spaces that are difficult to condition. We need access to all areas, including closets, cabinets, attics, crawl spaces and unused rooms. Testing can take an hour or more, depending on your home's complexity.

Can you replace insulation in both attics and walls?

Yes. We remove old insulation, install new blown-in insulation and work in both attics and walls.

What happens after the insulation work?

We complete a blower door test and obtain an energy reading to check for air leaks after the insulation project.

What should I do before blower door testing?

All wood or coal fires must be completely out before our technician arrives, and ashes must be removed from open fireplaces. Plan for a walk-through to identify drafty areas and provide access to every part of your home.
